| Boozy Bits | Wine Cocktail

The first weekend in November my Other Half and I took a trip up to the North East of Scotland to visit his family.  It was a fun filled long weekend consisting of plenty walks, food and of course booze…

While we were there my boyfriend put his cocktail making skills to the test. And he came up with a couple drinks to suit both mine and his aunties tastes.

His auntie is not much of a cocktail drinker as she only likes wine. But, this was just a fun little challenge for my partner as he rattled off a wine cocktail recipe he made up on the spot!

What you will need:

  • A Bottle Of White Wine Of Your Own Choice
  • Grapes
  • Lime
  • Ice
  • Pressed Apple Juice
  • Elderflower Liquor

 

Method:

  • Firstly muddle (squish)  5 grapes in the bottom of a wine glass
  • Add 75ml of the White Wine
  • Add 50ml of the Elderflower Liquor
  • Add 50ml Apple Juice
  • Squeeze in half a Lime
  • Top with Ice
  • And Garnish with a couple grapes if you like

And there you have it! A quick and easy cocktail for all you wine lovers out there!

  1. I love cocktails, not a fan of wine though!
    My go to cocktails are Sex on the Beach or Woo Woos generally, something sweet that tastes more like juice which can end up deadly when me & the girls are chatting at the same time and then you realise you’re drunk 🙈 I’ll have to make this one & see if they like it ☺️
